Inspections & Licensing

Central Racine County Health Department (CRCHD) is responsible for licensing and inspecting all the facilities in its jurisdiction. Facilities include restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, taverns, public pools, hotels/motels, campgrounds and body art establishments.

Temporary Events

Temporary events held within our jurisdiction which serve food, provide body art, or host campsites may require a temporary event license. Please see our brochures and applications regarding operating a temporary events.

Free food safety classes are available to any group/organization serving food to the public. Please call (262) 898-4460 to schedule a class.

Farmer's Markets

Food vendors wishing to serve food at farmer's markets within our jurisdiction may require a license and/or an inspection. Any vendor interested in serving at a farmer's market in our jurisdiction should call to determine licensing and inspection requirements.
